The Rig is the product which put us on the map. It was designed as a stylish alternative to the static kitchen island for the smaller kitchen, or to operate as a satellite to larger islands in the larger kitchens. We've developed it since first launching it in 1999, but retained it's simple, pure form.

We get good feedback from customers who love it's distinctive looks and versatility. They use it for purposes we didn't originally consider — like as a funky drinks trolley, or simply for extra storage. One of our customers even employs her Rig as an "essential tool" in a home jam-making business!

Yet another popular use for a Rig is for eating al fresco — prepare your food inside the house and wheel it outside.

The removable beech-block work surface sits at standard kitchen counter height allowing you to work without bending. The chunky industrial castors are all lockable. And you can accessorise your Rig with the urban icons holdster .
